Barcelona is an impressive city; a beautiful fusion of modern city life, history, art and beaches. The highlights from my trip included visiting the Gaudi cathedral, eyeing artistic works in the Picasso Museum, exploring the city by foot, staring up in awe at the Arc de Triomf, taking an electric bicycle for a spin along the coast, expanding my knowledge of the animal kingdom at Barcelona zoo and admiring trinkets in the alley markets – and that’s just to name a few things! Usually I will visit a European city, class it as conquered, and tick it from my list of places to see. However, there is so much to experience in Barcleona that I would definitely go back.
